Flying Bunnies
The next time you are in the garden, sitting there quietly and dreaming, look around...
you
might just see...
something,
or someone,
special
Like a winged bunny!
There are lots of wild rabbits in our neighbourhood, and so why not one that can fly!?
This is Nellie. She's a fragile little creature about the size of a baby rabbit (5 1/2 inches long) and is incredibly secretive and quick, as are all wild bunnies. She's also incredibly agile, despite her fluffy body.
Nellie was created in a super-soft patterned cream and tan German synthetic with a white underside to her tail. The inner ears are pink upholstery suede with safety-lock eyes and an embroidery floss nose and mouth. Her hind paws are ultrasuede and her toes are embroidery floss. The wings are purchased butterfly wings. Her whiskers are fishing line and her antennae are very thin curled wire. She's entirely wired and poseable (including her ears and tail), and stuffed with polyester fiberfil.
